Join us for a special FREE SCREENING of biopic short Into Light , depicting the final speech of INEZ MILHOLLAND, where she demands Women’s Equal Right to Vote in October, 1916. Created by an award-winning cast and crew, Into Light inspires the vote for equal rights in this 2020 election, by honoring the unsung Inez's powerful legacy for equality. Creating the context for this dramatic event is Wild West Women’s Inez Milholland: Forward Into Light, a short documentary which brings viewers into Los Angeles, 1916 on that fateful moment of ultimate sacrifice. Following the films, the one-hour online event will also feature a live discussion and Q and A with documentary filmmaker/historian, Martha Wheelock, Into Light Producer/Writer/Actress, Amy Walker, and historian, writer, collaborator Robert Cooney, whose book on Inez started both women’s pursuit of Inez’s Story.
