THIRD ACTion Film Festival 2020: I Did It My Way Screening Start Time: 4:30PM (MST) Mon Papi s’est Caché: A grandfather explains to his grandson that he'll have to take care of his flower garden after he dies. There follows a touching and poetic discussion about losing loved ones and on the marks they leave behind. (French with English subtitles) Setting Moon: In the very end, once a soul has been cleansed of its past, it will take one last journey to the deepest abyss for a new beginning. To fulfill her filial piety, a young woman accompanies her mother on the journey to the end of her being. Under the setting moon, they reminisce about the past. (Chinese with English subtitles) Her Last Project: This film is the extraordinary story of Dr. Shelly Sarwal, a physician from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), an incurable disease, Shelly elected to undertake the recently legalized Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) procedure and become an organ donor. Krampouezh: A Breton grandmother will have to open her heart to her granddaughter in order to mourn her husband. (French with English subtitles) Der Besuch: Klaus works as a Santa Claus in a shopping mall. After an exhausting day, he considers quitting his job. But then, he gets a call from the children's intensive care unit. (German with English subtitles) Menuett: For Charlotte it is like any other Sunday, until the doorbell rings and a stranger surprises her with an exceptional request.
