As a RAINN Speakers Bureau member, you are invited to join a screening of the short film NO COMMENT, followed by a virtual Q&A with the cast and crew moderated by RAINN Vice President of Communications Heather Drevna. Set during a stoic, real-time interview, NO COMMENT follows Hollywood star Robert Grainger who hits his breaking point during a press junket interview when a young journalist named Abigail investigates his complicity in a scandal. Robert has pushed down his conscience; Abigail has come to pull the truth out of him. NO COMMENT had an online premiere on Film Shortage in April 2020. Indie Shorts Magazine named the film one of the best shorts of the year, calling it "a breathtakingly powerful work." The film runs approximately 16 minutes, after which members of the NO COMMENT team will begin the Q&A. You will have the opportunity to submit questions as the Q&A takes place through CYA.live's chat platform. Russell Goldman (Writer/Director) is a writer and filmmaker most recently hired to co-write the upcoming Blumhouse film Mother Nature. His previous short Summer of Connor played at film festivals across the world, including HollyShorts and Frameline43. Sofie Somoroff (Intimacy Director/Assistant Director) is an LA-based filmmaker with an affinity for work that is both female focused and sex positive. In addition to assistant directing, her recent work includes a series of (somewhat raunchy) musical shorts that can be viewed on the internet. Robert Lewis Stephenson (Robert) is a seasoned theater and film actor based in Los Angeles. He's known for his turns in The Thomas Crowne Affair and for the award-winning series Sordid Lives. Henita Telo (Abigail) is a first generation American actress born to Liberian parents and raised in Delaware. Henita obtained her BFA in acting from California Institute of the Arts.
