What has happened? Where do we go? Are we willing to burn it all down and start over? Have we gotten too comfortable in the trappings? The Freedom Riders were youths young as 18 with a 12 year old stepping up knowing that her actions would be seen as a traitor to the Klan, yet she pushed through the crowd and gave water to those in need from the burning bus. Marcus risked a lot and at the end his own people rejected him, some say point out that his people stoned him and Europe took him in. After his death the stone that they threw they use to build monument of him and call him their hero. Where has the legacy of Marcus gone? Is it living dormant in his bloodline or has it jumped into others who hold Garveyism still in their hearts? Where is his trusted protector? Who is protecting the work of Garvey?
